give the guards - wow power leveling
Posted On 04/27/2010 03:34:02 by goodx

People roll on PVP servers because they want to kill the other faction, the inclusion of town guards is an interferance with this game mechanic. If people don't like being killed because there are no guards, they can go roll on a PVE server. As it is town guards do little to deter people from assaulting towns, other than stopping them from controlling the town until they get bored. There is no problem with this, people would go to towns to oust the opposing faction. PVP servers are supposed to be harder than PVE servers, with town guards the only real difference is being randomly killed when you're not near a town. There's also the issue of people exploiting guards/exploiting guard mechanics: Rooftop camping in Northrend, and Outlands in neutral towns so that they can shoot/cast spells at people on the ground without fear of retribution from the guards or other players(if someone is shooting you, and you retaliate the guards kill you not them. This does not mean you should give the guards wow power leveling wow gold aion gold wow gold wow power leveling 200 servers means less that 1/2 of 1% of the folk who read this will be on your server. Less will be in your zone and even less at a level to help you. Post in your realm forum and use in-game general chat to look for help. Joining a leveling guild might be good as well. wow gold Thank you for your advice, but can you tell me how to get to a realm forum? I know it sounds really pathetic, but I couldn't find a realm forum (I looked) could you tell me where to go to find it? No one will help you. Someone might give you advice. wow power leveling I suggest looking for a guild to give you a hand but don't expect anyone to do everything for you. Use the Forum Nv drop down box upper or lower left side of screen, Scroll for realm forum, Highlight the forum click the arro to yhe right off drop down box. aion gold Oh... and getting oiwarljwsldkfjslde to level 6 after a days play on your first toon isn't that bad. Once you figure out the game mechanics, things move quicker. wow power leveling When you get to level 10, you get a quest that lets you tame pets. Once you get a pet, you will find questing much, much, MUCH easier. Hunters are probably the second hardest class to play up to level 10 (after druids). After they get their pet, they are one of the easiest. If you've got troubles levelling, try finding people to group with to do quests. wow gold I suggest looking for a guild to give you a hand but don't expect anyone to do everything for you. I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way. People standing nearby a neutral town/a town friendly to their faction, attempting to get you to initiate combat so that they can run back to the guards with the intent of getting you killed by the guards. Yea this would be cool. There should also be more consequences for allowing your king to be killed. I.e. i'm on a PvP server and when the alliance attack Org and you try to get people to stop it they laugh at you. So much for PvP, eh? EDIT: along those lines, a lot of people have horde and alliance toons. They do this by having 2 separate accounts. This should be harder to do and should be more frowned upon in a PvP community than it currently is. People laugh about Alliance players having Horde toons, both toons being in large guilds. Because being camped while trying to mail off a bag load isn't tedious, or trying to quest in Tanaris, but some lvl 80 has decided to sit in town and WTFPWN you because theres no one to stop him. Use some skill, get some friends and go attack an ally/horde base. They could add a commander/boss for each base that might drop faction tokens. That would give you another reason to try and obliterate the enemy. This would only be on PvP servers though, since the whole idea is to facilitate more world PvP. But as to removing gaurds... Not needed. Mabye the removal or reduced range of those flying gaurds in the outlands/ Northrend, but thats it. I disagree completely. It would not mean you'd be getting camped all the time. At least it wouldn't if your faction on that server cared at all. There has to be a motive to defending your city. Right now there is none whatsoever. What's worse is that this destroys a lot of motive to LEVEL anything besides a DK, and the DK influx is bad enough (I have one too, I love it, I'm just saying...). New people = Leveling New people > Defending a city Therefore leveling > defending. Also, you shouldn't have to rely on other 80's to ensure you don't get roflstomped all the way to 80. That's the risk you'd take. PVP servers are supposed to be dangerous. What's to stop you from going to a major city to mail off your bag load of mats, where you know it's going to be safe? There would be people to stop them, someone from your faction would probably be doing the exact same thing to their town. It would create world PVP in every zone, regardless of monetary gains(ala halaa tokens). I'm sure there would even be entire guilds devoted to taking over the other faction's towns/defending their own faction's towns. PvP is dangerous, yes, but come on. While this is an MMO, you should NOT have to rely on people JUST to level. This would bring in less people, and people would be less likely to level a non-hero class. Yes, exactly that. It would be harder to quest, and that brings in no new people. The point of PvP servers is to not have to wait for consent from someone else to kill another, not to camp in Darkshire for 3 hours until some 80 finally decides to help the lowbies out. The main problem I have for this, is not every server is cramped with people. I can play at random times on my main server and there might be only 6 people leveling say in Zangamarsh. 90% of the time, what keeps me sane is BEING able to have an area I can quickly afk for a bio or water without having to completely log out. I suppose they could expand upon the halaa system. Giving Battle tokens for defending a region or strategic place. Im not certain as to the best detection method for deciding when tokens would be issued or denied though atm xll.
